Miss the 30-day deposit protection window, or forget to serve Prescribed Information, and you've lost the ability to use Section 21 (where it still applies) and opened yourself to a 1-3x deposit penalty claim.

Enter the tenancy start date, deposit amount, scheme used (DPS, MyDeposits, TDS), and when Prescribed Information was served. The checker flags any compliance gaps, calculates the exposure if a tenant brought a claim, and shows the steps to remediate if you're outside the 30-day window.

Second-check for landlords managing their own deposit compliance. Self-managing landlords use this before a tenancy anniversary to confirm everything's in order.
