Right to Rent is a criminal liability on landlords if they don't verify a tenant has legal right to live in the UK. The acceptable documents list changes, and the online share code process now replaces physical documents for most non-UK nationals.

Enter the tenant's nationality and residency status. The checker outputs the acceptable document combinations, whether an online share code applies, the follow-up check dates if the tenant has time-limited leave, and the compliant process steps.

Does not perform the check for you — gives you the exact process to run and evidence to keep. Right to Rent is England-only; the other jurisdictions don't have this requirement.
